CWG Library Item No. 424

The radial arm saw can handle the work of a saw, a boring machine and a sander, while taking up very little floor space. You can make controlled cuts on large lumber, rafters, logs and framing stock. Secure the blade in a vertical position and make crosscuts, rip cuts, and mitre cuts. Tilt the blade and make bevel crosscuts, bevel rip cuts and compound mitre cuts. Or adjust the blade horizontally to do an edge slot and or angular edge cut.
Directing his expertise specifically to the beginner, master craftsman Roger W. Cliffe explains all the parts and blades of the radial arm saw, as well as how to set it up, handle, and maintain it.
