Team and Player Registration is OPEN for the Winter 2025/2026 Basketball Season!
Deadline for new team registration will be Monday 11-5-2025 at 5PM. League play is anticipated to start on 11-10-2025.
2026 Fee:
The basketball league will charge a $5 fee to member and a $41 fee to non-members.
Eligibility:
Collins Employee / Collins Retiree / Collins Contractors and their spouses are all eligible to participate in the leagues with or without being a member of the Rec Center. They all receive a matching subsidy of up to $30 per person. If your league only charges $15 you only get a subsidy match of $15.
It has been decided that we will not be using subsidy dollars any longer for prize money awarded to end of season top finishers. You may do trophies and medals if you wish.
League participants that are only eligible by being a member of the Rec Center, must maintain an active status throughout the league season
Must be 18 years of age at the time the season begins
Substitutes: Must be eligible through one of the means above and must be 18 years of age and must have a waiver signed. If they are not signed up for leagues, they will be expected to pay a guest fee at the front desk.
Rec Center House Rules:
Spectators - during regular season play - must be a member of the Rec Center, or if a non-member may pay a guest fee or use a guest pass (12 years of age or older).
Children (6 weeks - 11 years of age) are welcome to use the Rec room until 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
Please ask members to use proper footwear. Do not wear shoes that leave marks on the courts.
All league participants should check in at the front desk. Eligible Non-members will be assigned a league pass for the days times they play in the indoor leagues. All others will have to pay a guest fee.
Non-Member Fee Rates (effective January 2026) - $3.00 per night playing in the leagues. Therefore, if leagues run 1 time per week for 10 weeks, the non-member fee is $30. If they play in two divisions on different nights of the week, they owe $60. Currently each league may be a little different, and we are trying to standardize across the leagues.
League Passes - please give us 1 week to enter passes into the system. Please tell non-members that they can pick up their passes the first day of leagues.
We are starting to require some indoor leagues to become members. Pickleball and Racquetball - this is due to court availability and because they limit member participation.
